Kristina Marie Wilbanks

Kristina Marie Wilbanks, 51, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. Kristina was born on May 10, 1973, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dennis Wayne Wilbanks and Carolyn (Lewis) King. Kristina was a member of Deepfork Hillabee Indian Baptist Church where she attended in her younger years. Kristina attended the Eufaula Boarding School and graduated from Eufaula High School. She then enrolled at Haskell Indian Nations University. She believed strongly in her Native American heritage. Kristina was mostly a stay at home mom. She worked at the Asparagus Farm in Eufaula, OK and American Sheet Metal, Inc in Kansas City, MO.

Kristina loved fishing, rock hunting and being outdoors. She collected and created clay miniatures. She was a self taught artist, and loved to color and draw. She was a KC Chiefs football and Royals baseball fan. She was a comical person, always made you laugh. She loved listening to music especially Elvis and dancing. At family gatherings, she was the one who got everyone together for a song, dance and the live entertainment. Kristina and her daughter enjoyed doing their make-up and hair styles together. She loved to snuggle and hug your neck and give you lovings.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn King and husband Gary of the home; daughter Savannah J. Miller of Kansas City, MO; sons Haven Miller and Devin Miller of Kansas City, MO; father of her children Todd Miller; brother Damien Wilbanks of Eufaula; sister Marsha Wilbanks of Checotah; one grandchild Mekko Xavier Morales Miller; stepbrothers J.R. King of Tulsa and Justin King of Kansas City, MO; stepsister Gina King Wilson of Kansas City, MO; nephew Alex McCosar, nieces Olivia Long, Sydney Jones, Laney Jones and two great nieces Lacey Mae and Kinsley Jo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Wilbanks, her maternal grandparents Washie Lewis, Jr., Irene Lewis Cricklin and Claude Cricklin and paternal grandparents Chester Wilbanks Sr. and Samaria Wilbanks, one aunt; Lorene Lewis Chavez, two uncles; David & Chester Wilbanks and two cousins; George Lewis and Anthony Heneha.
