Kenneth Ray Melton, 59, of Indianola, passed away, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Roswell, New Mexico. Kenneth was born on June 30, 1953, in Anadarko, Oklahoma the son of Edward Eugene and Ida Mae (Anderson) Melton. He graduated from Anadarko High School and entered the U.S. Army after high school. Kenneth served in the Army for seven years. He worked in farming and later entered the oil and gas industry. He married Loutreca Bilyeu on September 10, 1982 in Anadarko. They moved to Eastern Oklahoma living in the Indianola community since 1989. Survivors include: his wife, Loutreca Melton, of the home; his sons, Dale Edward Melton and wife Kimberly of Orlando, Florida, Tanner Bleu Melton and wife Jennifer of Stigler and Tyde Forest Melton and wife Whitney of Indianola; brothers, Royce Melton of McAlester, Johnnie Melton of Carnegie and Tony Melton of Anadarko; sisters, Sherry Newton of Marlow and Debby Jones of Allen and four grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, a special relative, Ann Hudson, in 2006 and many aunts and uncles.
