Lahoma Kay Warren, 77, of Checotah, passed away on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022. Lahoma was born on June 24, 1945, in McIntosh County, Oklahoma to John Alfred and Jessica Irene (Reeves) Tankersley. She attended school at Texanna and Central High. Lahoma married Mereace Engels in Broken Arrow, OK. They were married for five years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and worked at Paradise Donut Shop in Porum. Lahoma later married Wayne Warren, who preceded her in death in 2012. She loved all her family and their gatherings.

Survivors include: one brother, Steve Tankersley and wife, Joyce, of Warner, OK and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Gerald and Clebert Tankersley; and three sisters, Sue Johnson, Colene Frazee and Louise George.
