Kathryne Jonell Smith

Kathryne Jonell Smith, 74, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, in McAlester. Kathryne was born on January 2, 1949, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jonies and Juanita (Kennedy) Martin. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1967. In August 1985, Kathryne married Robert R. Smith. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2007. Kathryne worked as a pharmacy tech at the Eufaula Pharmacy for twenty-five years. She was a member of the Vivian Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her son, Tim Martin and wife Amanda of Canadian; step son, Dean Smith of Wagoner; grandchildren Ryleigh Martin, Karigan Martin, Jennifer Smith and Dean Smith; great grandchildren Waylon Henley, Tru Smith, Brody Smith and Paige Smith and sisters, Peggy Hughes, Patsy Volkl and Bobbie Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brother Johnny Burns.
