Kathleen Shaver

Kathleen Shaver, 82, of Eufaula entered into heaven on December 10, 2024 from St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee. Kathleen was born on March 31, 1942 to Annie (Hawkins) Shivers and Lonzo Shivers of Stidham, OK. She attended school in Stidham and in 1958 she married Dennis Shaver and together they shared forty-six years until his passing. Kathleen cared for many patients over the forty years she worked at the nursing home and devoted thirty years to the Bank of Eufaula. Mom never met a stranger and anyone who knew her, knew she liked to talk & visit. She was always there if anyone needed help, whatever it may be.. She still gave my brothers and I orders all the time. The day she went into the hospital, she was making sure that I paid her phone bill. She loved going to Branson and spending time with her family. She loved going to see the Oak Ridge Boys & country music concerts.

She is survived by daughter Connie Viles and husband Sam; our special little sis Malena Curtsinger; two sons David and wife Joyce and Kenny and wife Sheila; four granddaughters; Monica Lawrence & husband Scott, Cynthia Chiles and husband Lorenzo, Sara Watkins and husband Daniel, Kasi Powell and husband Tyler; one grandson Ben and wife Brittany, nine great grand daughters; Gracee, Brooklyn and Cassidee McAlister. Samara, Rayna and Carina Chiles; Emma Watkins and Sophia and Sawyer Shaver. two great grandsons; Coda and Chett and one sister Cindy McMinn and husband Brad and a host of neices, nephews and cousins. 

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister Sue and one son-in-law Tom. We would like to thank the staff for the excellent care she recieved at St. Francis Muskogee ICU. The nurses and Dr.Orkorji were wonderful to her & our entire family. Muscogee Creek Nation we thank you for all of your help and appreciate everything you have done for mom over the years. Eufaula Manor thank you for providing wonderful care to our mother when it meant the most.
