Katharina Muller Neal passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at the Checotah Nursing Center. Kathe was born on October 29, 1927, to Andreas and Katharina Keller Muller in Wurzburg, Germany. Kathe as everyone called her worked for the U.S. Army doing laundry for the GI's. She met Bill Neal and married him on June 19, 1948, as his war bride, without knowing English very well, she came to the U.S. She was a Christian woman being baptized into Christ in Checotah, Oklahoma in the 50's at the Church of Christ and later a member of the Eufaula Church of Christ. The family settled in Eufaula, Oklahoma and started their family which from this union came Billy R. Neal, Catherine Neal Luke and Glen R. Neal. Kathe was a stay at home mom, an avid cleaner, her home was always spotless. She was a great cook of German food and American cooking and a great baker. She was always cheerful and bright teaching her children to be the best they can be. She was the best mom a kid could have. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Bill; two sisters, one brother and seven half sisters all of Germany. She is survived by her sons, Billy R. Neal and his wife, Barbara, Glen R. Neal and his wife, Kathy both of Eufaula; her daughter, Catherine Luke and husband Ronnie of Checotah; 11 grandchildren, Beverly Hale and husband James, Lisa Neal, Melissa Bell and husband Luke, Barbara Ann Neal, Crystal Allen and husband Chad, Michelle Cooper, Chase Isaac and wife Ciara, Jeremy Neal and wife Jodie, Jared Neal and wife Missy, Jonathan Neal and Jill Christian and husband T.J.; 18 great grandchildren, Khrystin Hale, Trevor Hale, Kamin Cooper, Katelyn Cooper, Matthew Lyons, Hannah Bell, Samuel Bell, Emery Bell, Mia Jones, Avery & C.J. Robinson, Gracelyn Neal, Garrett Neal, Edyn Neal and Elam Neal, Blaze Neal, Cole Neal and Rhett Isaac; and 2 great great grandchildren, Hadley Taylor and Riley Taylor; sisters in law, Pauline Alexander, Betty Curran, Wanda Neal and Ann Hampton and lots of nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
