Karen Waldrop

Karen Waldrop, 71, of Eufaula, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. Karen was born on January 14, 1949, in Indianola, Oklahoma, the daughter of Otto Frances and Betty Lee (Whitfield) Van Allen. She graduated from Canadian High School in 1967. On August 5, 1979, in Bower, Oklahoma, Karen married Arthur Ray Waldrop. They were happily married for forty-one years. Karen worked at First National Bank for eight years. She was a stay at home mom when her children were born. Survivors include: her husband, Ray, of the home; her daughters, Ginger Behnke and husband Fred of Huntsville, MO; Teresa Summers and husband Bobby of Nowata, OK; Kelly Grippando and husband Jeff of Tulsa, OK and Beth Stanton and husband Micky of Henryetta, OK; her brothers, Jerry Van Allen & wife Brenda of Muskogee, OK and Pat VanAllen of Arizona; her sister, Barbara VanAllen and wife, Kat Heinlein, of Edmond, OK; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Danny, and two great grandchildren, Raelynn and Brynlee.
