Jyne Ann Cease

Jyne A. Cease, 76, of Checotah, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019, at her home. Jyne was born on June 18, 1943, in Lyons, Kansas, the daughter of Paul Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Woods) Lemen. She graduated from high school in Kansas and then received her LPN license from Wichita State University and worked as an X-Ray technician. She married Dale O. Cease on December 19, 1964, in Lyons, Kansas. They were happily married for thirty-nine years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Derby, Kansas. Jyne and Dale moved to Lake Eufaula in 2002. Survivors include her son, Lance, of Checotah. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale.
