Judy Mellissa Morsette, 68, of Eufaula, passed away on July 22, 2020 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judy was born on October 20, 1951 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the daughter of Chester Fields and Edna (Holuby) Belcher. She attended Jones Academy and Sequoyah High School graduating in 1969. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching from Bacone College. Judy worked at the Creek Nation head Start for several years. She liked to play bingo, quilt, do bead work and all recreational things. She was a big fan of the Planet of the Apes. Judy was a member of the West Eufaula Indian Baptist Church where she served as the Women's Missionary Union, church treasurer and all occasion activity coordinator. Survivors include: her mother, Edna Belcher, of Eufaula; her sons: James Houston Holt, Jr., of Midwest City; and Bryan Allen Holt, of Muskogee, OK; her brothers, Richard Allen Belcher, Robbie Belcher, Charles Belcher and Benjamin Belcher; her sisters, Marilyn Tattershell, Ramona Tainpeah, Nancy Denise Skaggs and Jacqueline Brinkley; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Chester Fields; her son, Robert Holt; brothers, Johnny and Jackie Belcher and Eugene and Taylor Fields; and sisters, Evelyn Belcher and Virginia Hill.
