Judy Kay Upson

Judy Kay Upson, 61, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at her home. Judy was born on October 7, 1956, in Modesto, California, the daughter of L.J. and Helen (Welch) Luna. She attended school at Canadian and McAlester. In 1972, Judy married George Robinson in Checotah. She later married Robert Upson in 1982. They were happily married for thirty-eight years. Robert preceded Judy in death in 2014. Judy loved to sing and play Gin Rummy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by: her daughter, Jennifer Pope of Eufaula; her sons, George Robinson and wife Amanda of Canadian and Billy Upson and wife Misty of Williamston, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Carl Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Lillie Johnson, Trenton Robinson, Paige Robinson, Alyssa Robinson, Kandyce Upson, Michael Clark, Aaron Clark, Austin Clark, Payton Upson, Charlie Upson, Blu Upson, Mayhala Huff, Shawn Hendson, and Kala Huggins; her great grandchildren, Kaidyn Clevenger, Taran White, Caraline White, Apryl Robinson, Rylee Johnson, LaDeana Johnson and Slade Robinson; her sisters, Virginia Newby and husband Roland, Donna Maynard and husband Mike, Patricia Rhodes and husband Gary, Janett Anderson and husband Mike, Catherine Eldridge and husband Donald, Pamalla Bice, Jane Luna, Karol York and Deeana Schaefer; her brothers, Jerry Luna and Linda Vandenburg, Leonard Luna and wife Kay, Carl Luna and Tim Luna and wife Ramona; and uncle, John Welsh; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a special friend Steve Thomas and son Stevie Thomas. of Eufaula. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Upson; her grandson, Jesse; four brothers, Thomas and Ralph Crumbley, Jim and Raymond Luna; three sisters, Caroline Adams, Brenda Luna and Carolyn Jones; a niece, Karen Rhodes, and a nephew Codey Luna.
