Juanita Sullivan, 84, passed away Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, in Eufaula, OK. She was born on March 3rd, 1938, to Everidge and Edna (Thomas) Choate in Corinne, Oklahoma. She attended Wheelock Boarding School and was an alumni of Sequoyah High School graduating in 1954. Juanita married Robert Sullivan on November 21, 1964, in Dallas, Texas. She worked in home health for ten years and the Bennett Printing Company as a printer for twenty-five years. She was a member of the Tuskegee Indian Baptist Church. Juanita is survived by her son, Bobby Sullivan of Eufaula, OK; daughters, Barbara Marshall and husband Steven of Midlothian, Texas, Carolyn "Susie" Sullivan and James Emerson of Eufaula; brothers, Leon Choate and wife Doris of Pickens, Floyd Choate and wife Kay of Pickens and Levi Choate of Oleta; sister, Marietta Batiste of Hugo; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Robert.
