Juanita Jacobs Hopkins

Juanita was born on March 6, 1920, in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of William Carrol and Lou Ada (Ogden) Jacobs. She graduated from Stidham High School. On April 14, 1940, Juanita married Walter Hopkins in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 54 years. She was a long time member of the Vivian Baptist Church and also the Eufaula First Baptist Church. During the last part of her life, she was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church of Tulsa. Survivors include: her sons, Gary Edmond Hopkins and wife Becky and Dr. Walter Scott Hopkins and wife Vel; her daughter, Vada Ware; a sister, Lola Mae Hopkins; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter, in 1995, and two sisters, Lois Hopkins and Erma Gould.
