Josephine Deo Francis, 68, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the Freeman Hospital of Joplin, Missouri. Josephine was born on June 17, 1952, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of William "Bill" and Nettie (Solomon) Deo. Josephine graduated from Tulsa Central High School. She was a cook for the Creek Nation Head Start in both Eufaula and Tulsa. Josephine was a shell shaker and ribbon dancer. She was married to Robert Lee Francis who preceded her in death on November 15, 2020. Josephine loved going to concerts. She also loved to read Rolling Stones magazines, go sightseeing, go to church and visit relatives at gatherings. She was a member of the Okfuskee Baptist Church. Her biggest love was her fur babies and her family. Survivors include: her sons, Wesley, Ramond, Jonathan, Randy and Phillip Francis and her daughter in law, Tonya Francis and her fur grandkids, Hvcko Bear Francis, Baby Marie Francis, Basil Korban Francis, and Titan Morpheus Francis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Nettie Deo; her husband, Robert; her brothers, Bill Deo, Lawrence Josie, and Wallace Deo; her sisters, Margo Deo and Lena Tiger.
