John William Greer

John William Greer, 64, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. John was born on February 26, 1957, the son of Jimmie William and Lois Willadean (Dees) Greer. He graduated from Timbo High School and received his Associates Degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He also served in the United States Army. On October 15, 2005, John married Karla Ann Kiser. He worked for Boeing and retired in 2019. John enjoyed building and was considered a master craftsman. He built houses and log cabins. John enjoyed fishing. Survivors include: his wife, Karla, of the home; son, Josh Greer (Toni) of Mountain View, AR; his daughter, Samantha Callahan (David) of Timbo, AR; grandchildren, Olivia, Hayden, Riley & Payton, Rayne, Skye and one on the way; stepsons - David Preston (Magan) of Wichita, KS and James Preston of Excelsior Springs, MO; step grandchildren, Jace, Kristi, David and Paisley. brother, James "Jim" Greer (Cheryl) of Newton, KS; and sister, Debra Walton (David) of Wichita, KS. He is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dedra Greer.
