John Howard Marshall

John Howard Marshall, 69, passed away Monday, February 6th, 2023, in Eufaula, OK. John was born on August 27th, 1953, to Samuel Tucker and Polly (Francis) Marshall in Tahlequah, OK. He attended Hartshorne High School and Eufaula High School and graduated in 1971. He also attended OSU Okmulgee Tech for heat and air. John worked for Creek Nation for ten years, doing maintenance, housing and bingo calling. He was a member of the Tuskegee Indian Baptist Church. John enjoyed visiting with friends and family and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

John is survived by his son, Edward Marshall of Checotah, OK; daughter, Ada Sterling and husband Scott of Sapulpa, OK; brothers, Sam Marshall and George Marshall of Eufaula, OK, Dewayne Marshall of Tahlequah, OK and Steve Marshall of Alvarado, TX; sisters, May Marshall of Okmulgee, OK and Leah Marshall of Eufaula, OK; grandchildren, Scarlett Marshall, Autumn Sterling, Joseph Sterling, Danielle Bassett, Myra Bassett and Samantha Bassett; and great grandchild, Mathias Dickson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Polly; sisters, Ethel Melton, Lucille Ward, Eloise Ahtone and Polly Ann Marshall; and brother, Guymon Marshall.
