John Carl Burdine

John Carl Burdine, 85, of Eufaula, passed away on December 3, 2020 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. John was born on August 13, 1935 in Lenna, Oklahoma to Simon Solomon and Irene (Ogden) Burdine. He attended school in Lenna Oklahoma. John worked as a farmer/rancher, but his passion was hunting. On October 21, 1955, he married Billie Kathryn Edwards in Okmulgee, Oklahoma They were happily married for fifty-six years, before she preceded him in death on April 15, 2011. John was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: daughters: Marsha Kaler and husband, Lynn, of Hanna; and Joyce Shaver and husband, David, of Lenna; son in-law, Leroy Lane, of Lenna; grandchildren: Dalina McGee, of Lenna; Josh Lane of Lenna; Jaymn Burdine and wife, Leslie, of Seminole; Jacey Burdine and wife, Audra, of Fame; David Turner and wife, Leslie, of Skiatook, Ben Shaver and wife, Brittany, of Broken Arrow; Kasi Powell and husband, Tyler, of Lenna; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Kathryn Burdine; son, Orvil Burdine; daughters, Kay Turner and Becky Lane; sister, Wilma Harjo Pittman; two granddaughters, Stephanie Enis and Laura Brook Burdine; and one great granddaughter, Ryleigh Kay Enis.
