John Buford Baker

John “Buford” Baker, 93, of Frisco, Texas formerly of Stidham, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Prairie Estates in Frisco, Texas. Buford was born on September 4, 1917 in Stidham, Oklahoma, the son of John W. and Cleo (Sexton) Baker. On July 8, 1939, Buford married Norma Pigman in Eufaula. She preceded him in death on March 6, 1963. Buford worked in the flea market business. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1 of Eufaula. Survivors include his son, Numan L. Baker and wife Minnie of Frisco, Texas; a daughter Drudean Gregory of Tulsa; his sisters, Idell Gwartney of Pryor and Bonnie Mae Chase of Tulsa; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, Howard Leroy Baker and Carl Russell Baker.
