John Albert Sloan

John Albert Sloan, 74, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at the Hillcrest South Hospital of Tulsa. John was born on April 27, 1946, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of Albert and Ella (Butler) Sloan. John graduated from Oktaha High School in 1964. He enlisted in the United State Army and was honorably discharged on April 17, 1970. He attended OSU and NSU Tahlequah. In 1997, John married Patricia Ann Moore in Stidham. They were happily married for twenty-three years. He enjoyed watching the news, the history channel and westerns. He also enjoyed showing off his truck. His biggest joy was spending time with his family at family meals. Survivors include: his daughters, Teresa Dominic of the home, Rachel Eden and husband Fredie of Antlers; his sisters, Phyllis Yahola of Wetumka and Patricia Sloan of Oktaha; his grandchildren, Fredie Eden, Jr., Victoria Eden, Jacob Eden, Johnathan Dominic and Alexis Dominic. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia, a son, John Freeland Dominic and a sister, Sara Boone.
