Joann Marie Mills

Joann Marie Mills, age 64, of Stigler, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 31, 1961, in Inglewood, California, she was the cherished daughter of Glenn Curtis and Jo Dee (Hill) Parker.

Joann married the love of her life, Richard "Ricky" Mills, on August 2, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and they shared a wonderful journey together for forty years, creating lasting memories as they traveled the country.

Joann is survived by her devoted husband Ricky; her mother, Jo Dee Edwards of Texas; her sons, Richard Mills, Jr. and Jeffrey Mills, both of Texas; her daughters, Kelly Hargis and her husband Kenneth of Texas, and Julia Mills of Eufaula; her brother, David Parker and his wife Shannon of Texas; her sister, Claudia Hoffacker and her husband John of Minnesota; as well as two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her step- father, Clyde Edwards.

Joann's spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
