Jo Darlene Blackman, 61, of Eufaula, passed away on May 23, 2016 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Jo was born on November 4, 1954 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Milford Bishop and Cloa Augusta (Sparks) Lairamore. She graduated from Pocola High School in 1972. On June 2, 1972, Jo married Darrell Glenn Blackman in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They were happily married for over forty-three years. She was the best wife, mother, and granny. Jo loved her family with all her heart. She loved her chickens and living her country lifestyle. Jo enjoyed sewing, cooking, and making cakes. She even won a Betty Crocker Award in high school. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to yard sales with her best friend and sister in-law, Nicki. Jo was a member of the Eufaula Church of Christ. Survivors include: her husband, Darrell Blackman, of the home; sons: Darren Blackman and wife, Kelli, of Newark, AR; Dustin Blackman, of the home; daughter, Kristy Hampton and husband, Dr. Kenneth Wayne Hampton, Jr., of Gilmer, TX; brothers: Don Lairamore and wife, Linda; Darrell Lairamore and wife, Nicki; sister, Gail Nelke and husband, Jr., all of Pocola, OK; and five grandchildren: Shelby Camille Blackman, Sydney Claire Blackman, Faith Dalynn Hampton-Hart, Augusta Helene Hampton, and "Trae" Kenneth Wayne Hampton, III.
