. Jimmy was born on May 5, 1928 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Richardson) Turner. He enlisted in the United States Army in May of 1946 and was later honorably discharged on October 22, 1947. Jimmy was a horologist once out of school, working at Turner’s Jewelry Store in McAlester, Oklahoma. He worked as an operator and lumber grader for the Saw Mill in Alaska. While there, Jimmy owned and operated a jewelry store. He owned and operated a jewelry store in Gold Beach, Oregon, before retiring. Jimmy was married to Joyce Cloud Turner for fifteen years. Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Cloud Turner, of the home; two daughters, Donna Foster and husband, Stanley, of Pauls Valley, OK; Dianna Whitefield, of Plano, TX; seven grandchildren, Steve Warren; Todd Warren and wife, Cricket; Lisa Rosenberg and husband, Jason; Angela Ticknor and husband, Jim; Paul Rudinicki; Greg Richardson; Chris Richardson and wife, Stephanie; and ten great grandchildren, Matthew Warren; Maggie Warren; Natalie Rosenberg; Zach Rosenberg; Ethan Ticknor; Greyson Richardson; Paige Richardson; Ward Richardson; Cole Richardson; and Aaden Richardson. He is preceded in death by his parents, B.F. and Lizzie Turner; and one daughter, Fonda Richardson.
