Jimmy Lee Fairchilds

Jimmy Lee Fairchilds, Sr.,73, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Tulsa. Jimmy was born on December 28, 1948, in Checotah, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest Marion and Willie Lee (Newton) Fairchilds. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1967. Jimmy worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty years, retiring in 2004. On August 5, 1995, Jimmy married "Debra" Kay Dibbens in Yukon, Oklahoma. They were happily married for twenty-seven years. Jimmy loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors. Survivors include: his wife, Debra, of the home; his sons, Shawn Fairchilds and wife, Katherine, of Bridge City, TX and Jim Fairchilds and wife, Renee, of Baytown, TX; daughter, Christina Fairchilds of Eufaula; brother, Ernest Dale Fairchilds of Mannford, Gary Fairchilds of Mannford and Terry Fairchilds of Sand Springs; sisters, Marie Mansell of Eufaula and Mary Bigham of Eufaula; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth Fairchilds and two grandchildren, Sierra and Hank.
