Jill Read Brasuell

Jill Read Brasuell, née Read, of Austin, Texas, passed away on the morning of June 1st, 2023 at the age 59 years. Jill passed at Porta Caeli Hospice in the presence of her husband. She was born on June 15, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Farrar Kyle Read and J. Leanne Read (née Heiskell). She graduated from Bryan High School in Bryan Texas, and then went on to graduate from The University of Texas at Austin. Jill married Jonathan Craig Brasuell of Houston, Texas and now Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 7, 1991. They were married for 31 years residing mostly in Austin, Texas.

Jill loved her family above all things. She was a wonderful wife, and mother. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist. She spent many years as a manager and consultant to medical practices in Dallas and Austin.

Jill is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan Brasuell, and her son, Cole McIntosh Brasuell; her mother, Leanne Read, and her sister, Jane Read Gherardi, and brother, Kyle C. Read. She was also blessed with many family members, from both sides of her family, with whom she remained very close throughout her life.

A memorial celebration service will be planned to honor the life of Jill Brasuell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Clarehouse Hospice 7617 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74133, or Porta Caeli Hospice 2440 N. Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115.
