Jewell Marie Laman

Jewell Marie Laman, 97, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Jewell was born on May 13, 1923, in Stidham, Oklahoma the daughter of Robert Arthur and Ethel (Henley) Carey. She graduated from Stidham High School. On May 30, 1942, Jewell married Clarence Grayson Laman in Fame, Oklahoma. They were happily married sixty-three years. Jewell worked as an office clerk in the soil conservation office. Jewell is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, an infant son, and son, William Marion Laman. She is survived by her sisters, Hazel McIntosh of Stidham, Pearl Jordan of Eufaula and Carrie Lee Anderson of Alturas, California and a host of nieces and nephews.
