Jesse Lee Cossey

Jesse was born on August 3, 1947, in Madera, California, the son of Virgil Lee and Opal Serita (Taylor) Cossey. On May 25, 1974, Jesse married June Ann Cavelli in Carson City, Nevada. They were happily married for forty-four years. Jesse was a plumber for fifty years which included retiring after twenty-two years of service as a plumber/pipe fitter from the University of Oklahoma. Survivors include: his wife, June, of the home; his son, Timothy Lee Cossey and wife Diane of Whidbey Island, Washington; his daughters, Samantha Gayle and husband Danny Parker of Kopperl, Texas, Sherry LeeAnn and husband Bobby Madden of Kempner, Texas, Peggy Jayleen and fiance Doug Anderson of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Tammy Lynn Hawkins of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and his brothers, Frank Cossey, Clyde Louie Cossey, and Dave Cossey; his sisters, Janice Cossey, Barbara Caldwell, Sandra Fisher and Debby Cossey; eighteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Tilman and Mary Cossey and his maternal grandparents, Roy and Minnie Taylor.
