Jerry Ilene Jones

Jerry Ilene Jones, 87, passed away Thursday, May 5th, 2022, at her home in Eufaula, OK. She was born on January 20th, 1935, to Verner Bryan and Carrie Estelle (Snow) Nelson in Eufaula, OK. Jerry graduated from Eufaula High School in 1953 where she won Football Queen. She married Charles Jones in October 6, 1953. The two were married for sixty-nine years. Jerry worked as an LVN for two years at Dr. Palmer' s office in Bakersfield. From 1976 to 1992 she and her husband Charles were the owners and operators of Trim Line of San Antonio. Jerry avidly studied and read her Bible. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witness. She also enjoyed witnessing and teaching the Bible. Jerry loved gardening, going to garage sales with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her husband and friends and treasured every moment talking with her twin sister Cherry. Jerry is survived by her daughter; Heather Conklin and husband Patrick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandchildren; BreAnna Rochon and husband Jay of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Judge Conklin of Boynton Beach, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Jones, her parents; Verner and Carrie Nelson, siblings; twin-sister Cherry Alene Greene, Max Nelson, David Nelson and Mary Nelson Muller.
