Jemima Berry

Jemima Ann Berry, 59, of Sallisaw, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Sallisaw Memorial Hospital. Jemima was born on May 18, 1955, in Eufaula, Oklahoma the daughter of David and Nettie (Pigeon) Francis. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1972. After high school, Jemima received her Associate"s Degree from Connors State College in Lab Science. She worked as a lab tech at the Okmulgee Hospital. Jemima married Carl Davis in 1987. They were married for several years. Jemima then married Frankie Joe Berry Jr. in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2005. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw. She is survived by: her husband, Joe, of the home; her sons, Carl "Gebon" Davis and wife Dallas of Keota and Stephen Davis and wife Kim of Oklahoma City; her daughters, Christina "Tina" Jackson and husband Walter of Clayton and Cheryl Francis and husband Randy Bush of Sallisaw; brothers, Robert Lee Francis and wife Josephine of Glenpool, David Dean Francis and wife Josephine of Eufaula and Edmond Birdcreek and wife Hattie of Henryetta; 11 grandchildren, Tracy Clyma, Cassie Francis, Anthony Jackson, Jaden Jackson, Blake Jackson, Seattle Timmons, David Davis, Cole Davis, Mary Davis, Mekko Ariza and Riley Davis; her great grandchildren, Rainy Hart and Rylen Caughman. She is preceded in death by her parents David Francis in 1989 and Nettie Francis in 1987 and her brother Dion Francis Sr. in 2007.
