J.C. Brady

December 5, 1926 — February 25, 2017

J C Brady, 90, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. J C was born on December 5, 1926, in Eufaula, Oklahoma the son of James Franklin and Hannah Lois (Bright) Brady. He enlisted in the United States Army on November 17, 1945 at Camp Walters, Texas. He was honorably discharged on September 9 1946 at Camp Polk, Louisiana. On December 29, 1945, J C married Thelma Lee Boyd. They were happily married for 65 years and raised three children together. Thelma preceded him in death on December 28, 2010. J C enjoyed living on the ranch working with the cattle and horses. His greatest love was spending time with his family. J C was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Eufaula. Survivors include: his sons, Gary F. Brady and wife Heather of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Terrie B. Brady and wife Janet of Moore, Oklahoma; his daughter, Lorena Gayle Clark of Moore, Oklahoma; a sister, Dorma Lee White of Blanchard, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, six sisters and one brother.
