JB Hill, 86, of Stidham, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Solara Hospital of Muskogee. He was born on July 27, 1925, in Stidham, Oklahoma the son of Bart and Tinnie (Antle) Hill. JB attended school at Stidham. In World War II, JB’s job was to guard MacArthur. On December 3, 1954, JB married Alice Gay Brown in McAlester. He worked as a farmer and rancher for fifty plus years. He also worked as a roughneck in the oilfields. JB could fix anything. He owned and operated JB Hill’s TV Shop in Checotah where he repaired and sold televisions for nine years. JB was known for a great sense of humor. Survivors include his wife, Alice, of the home, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gilbert, Robert and Corbin and three sisters, Lizzie Acord, Oray Carey and Nellie Redding.
