Jay Thomas Foster

Jay Thomas Foster, Jr., 67, of Checotah, passed away on April 13, 2019 at his home. Jay was born on December 20, 1951 in Olney, Texas to Jay Thomas and Ruby Leola (Wyatt) Foster. He served in the United States Navy. Jay worked as an over the road truck driver for over thirty years. He married Delenna Ives on November 14, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jay enjoyed boating, fishing, and watching westerns on television. He loved spending time and teasing his grandchildren. He also loved his puppies, golf cart riding, and food. Survivors include: his wife, Delenna Foster, of the home; son: Jay T. Foster, III, of Elizabeth City, NC; daughters: Sharon McKinsey and Connie Foster Glassner, both of OKC, OK; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
