Jana R. Gerhart

Jana Rhell Gerhart, 78, of Canadian, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home. Jana was born on March 7, 1945, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Darnell and Violet Vivian (Deming) Steimer. She graduated from Northeast High in Oklahoma City and received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. On September 20, 2002, Jana married Ronald Gerhart. They were happily married for twenty-one years. She was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church. Her love of family, fishing and her beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys will always shine bright.

Survivors include: her husband, Ron, of the home; son, William Brent Vinzetta of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Christie Cumpton and husband Michael of Madill, OK and Amy Vinzetta of Cherryvale, KS; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Holden, Tyler and wife Kelly, DJ and wife Meagan, Ashley, Erica and husband Andrew and Austin and three great grandchildren, Liam, Teagan and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Darnell and Violet and a son, Cody L. Gerhart, 3 sisters Pat, Joyce and Peggy.
