James Lee Mcguire

James Lee McGuire, 88, of Eufaula, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. James was born on June 8, 1934 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of William Calvin and Lorena (Brown) McGuire. He attended Weleetka High School and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1952. On August 20, 1955, James married Patricia Sue Hendrix. They were happily married for sixty-seven years. He received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University in 1956. James worked as a mechanical engineer for Oklahoma Gas and Electric, Black & Veatch in Kansas City and KBR in Houston. In 1998, James retired and he and Sue started traveling in their motor home. He was affiliated with Berachah Church in Houston, Texas.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Sue McGuire, of the home; son, Clint McGuire of Eufaula; and daughter, Alana Lee Sams and husband Larry of Henryetta. he is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Calvin "Billy" McGuire, Jr.
