James Isaac Killian, 86, of Eufaula, passed away on June 27, 2017 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. James was born on August 4, 1930 in Delhi, Oklahoma to Oscar James and Laura Fleetie Killian. He graduated from Ocina High School in Willow, Oklahoma in 1948. He then enlisted in the United State Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1954. James married N. Geraldine Mandrell on December 29, 1955 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 61 years. James graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1958. He worked as an Engineer for The Boeing Company for over 30 years. James was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. He loved to play golf. James was a member of the Shriners and drove kids to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Shreveport. Survivors include: his wife, Geraldine, of the home; daughter Diana Proe, and husband Denny of Eufaula, OK; his son, Mark Killian and wife Gina of Prosper, TX; and four grandchildren: Eric Proe, Kyla Kindle and husband Ezekiel, Katherine Killian and Troy Killian. he is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. A memorial service was held 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. J. Ingram officiating.
