James "Jay" Buddy Cook, 50, of Crowder, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was born on August 26, 1964, in Dumas, Texas, the son of Melvin Cook and Kim Risenhoover. He graduated from high school in Fritch, Texas. In 1991, Jay married Jurean Rena Thomas. They were happily married for twenty-three years. Jay worked as a compression mechanic in the oil and gas industry for thirty-three years. He devoted his life to his family and being a loving father. He had a passion for riding his Harley and making people smile. Survivors include: his wife, Jurean R. Cook, of the home; his sons, Goose of the home, and Fussy of Stillwater; his father, Melvin Cook; his mother, Kim Risenhoover of Stigler; his brother, Kenny Cook, Jr. and wife Tonya of Elmore City, and Randy Cook of Houston, Texas.
