James Healdton Calger

ames Healdton Calger, 78, of Longtown, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at his home. James was born on December 12, 1941, in Comanche, Oklahoma, the son of Acie and Velma Florene (Barker) Calger. James service in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in October 1963. He worked in the oil field and later worked as a grater operator for Carter County. James enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include: his partner, Lelanii Harris, of the home; his son, Mark Calger of Ardmore, OK; his daughter, Lisa Davis of Breckenridge, TX; his sisters, Marilyn Rains & husband Richard of Purcell, OK, Barbara Townsend of Purcell, OK, Judy Calger of Seminole, OK, Berta Harris and husband Allen of Seminole, OK and Sue Harrison of Seminole, OK; and his brother, Donnie Calger of Seminole, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Ralph, Harold, Danny, and Ricky; and his sisters, Peggy, Wanda, Jane and Shirley.
