James Harley Decker, 71, of Canadian, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024, was born on October 16, 1952, in Hanford, California, the son of James Haiden and Lois Ray (McGuire) Decker. His family moved to Oklahoma in 1954. Harley graduated from Eufaula High School in 1971. On March 18, 1972, Harley married Bessie Kathlene Eldridge. They were happily married for 52 years. Harley was a Seabee in the United States Navy. He worked as a truck driver for Bumpers Trucking for ten years and retired in 2001.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathy, of the home; daughters, Brandy Davis and husband Shawn of Canadian, Rosie Wooten and husband Hugh of Canadian and Audra Burdine and husband Jacey of Eufaula; son, James Decker, Jr. of Eufaula; grandkids, Steven and Kristin DiSilvestro, Breanna and Thomas Martin, Jessica and Matthew Jolikko, Gavin Wooten, Addelyn Burdine, Jacob Burdine, Emily Decker, Kelcey Decker, Arabella Burdine, Jimmy and Jessica Davis; great grandkids, Triston, Kymbree, Kimber, Christopher, Thomas Jr, Eli, Norah and Shawn III. He is also survived by multiple siblings and in laws. Harley is preceded in death by his parents Haiden and Lois, his stepfather Robert Smith, grandparents, Luke and Kate McGuire; granddaughter, Brittany; grandson, Douglas and multiple siblings and in laws.
