James A. “Jr.” Pittman passed away in Stidham, Oklahoma on April 6, 2012, at the age of 86. Jr. was born in Stidham, Oklahoma on March 25, 1926 to James Arthur Pittman, Sr. and Della Mae (White) Pittman. He was the only boy in the graduating class of Stidham High School in 1944. On June 19, 1947, Jr. married the love of his life, Vonnie “Juanita” (Hughart) Pittman. He lived in Stidham his entire life. Jr. worked for Nelson Feed and Seed Store in Eufaula, Oklahoma for over twenty years. He started his feed store career with Burdine Feed. Jr. raised cattle with his wife, Juanita on their home place until his age and health caused him to slow down. He was a member of the Henryetta Church of Christ in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, four brother in-laws, and one sister in-law. Survivors include: his beloved wife, Juanita, of nearly 65 years; two sons, James Edward Pittman and wife, Sharon, of Preston, OK; Arthur Ray Pittman and wife, Martha, of Morrison, OK; daughter, Bonita Mae Warren and husband, Steve, of Eufaula, OK; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Pittman and wife, Jami; April Hurst and husband, Casey; Jamie Walden and husband, Dirk; Emily Smith and husband Matthew; Bradley Pittman; Beth Pittman; Lindsey Atwood and husband, Sterling; and Tyler Warren and wife, Crystal; twelve great grandchildren, Ashley; Matthew; Thomas; Spencer; Cooper; Dylan; Lukas; Gabe; Carson; Kaden; Hayden; and Lyla; one sister, Lorene Starkey, of Eufaula, OK; two sister in-laws; one brother in-law; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends, whom Jr. loved and they loved him.
