James Allen Vaughn

James Allen Vaughn Sr., 80, of Eufaula passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. James was born on September 16, 1938, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Eugene "Gene" Harold and Beulah (Yager) Vaughn. On June 30, 1962, James married Karen Irene Krieger in Kenosha. They were happily married for fifty-six years. In 1978, James and Karen moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma. James worked at Goodyear Tire for twenty years, DP for twenty years and Dixie/Eufaula Elementary for five years. He loved playing dominoes and went the community center for lunch everyday. Survivors include: his wife, Karen, of the home; his sons, James Vaughn Jr. and wife Catherine of Oklahoma City; Allen Vaughn and wife Shelly of Eufaula and Scott Edward Vaughn of Eufaula; his brother, George Vaughn and wife Jeanie of of Adams, Wisconsin; two sisters, Sharon Maice of Michigan and Ruth Ann Corley of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Alex Valleroy, Matthew Vaughn, Allana Vaughn and Gabriel Vaughn. He is preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings. Cremation arrangement were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
