Jacob Jackson of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 67 on September 7, 2021, at his home. He was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma, on August 22, 1954, to Timothy O. and Luella Mae (Red) Jackson. Jacob graduated from Weleetka High School in 1972. He received his Bachelor's degree from East Central University and continued his education at California State University, where he earned his Master's degree in Educational Counseling. Jacob enjoyed working with young people. He was a teacher, coach, school counselor and principal. He served in the public school system for over 30 years. Jacob married Molline Davis in 2004. He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. Jacob also spent a lot of time ministering to American Indian families through prayer, singing, and exhortation. On January 12, 2014, Jacob was ordained as a minister at North Fork Baptist Church. Jacob is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Thomas Jackson, Betty Ann Hogshooter, Lorene Buckley, Joe Jackson, Tecumseh Jackson, Louie Jackson, Billy Joe Jackson, Susanna Marshall; by half siblings Willie Jackson and Judy Walker. Jacob is survived by his wife, Molline, of the home; his step-children, John Beaver and wife Meagan of Eufaula, Tusa Scraper and husband Lawrence Jr. of Norman; six grandchildren, Adyson, Richie, Hannah, Jaylee, Lydia, and Baby Beaver; and by his brothers, Jackie Jackson, Andrew Jackson and Robert Jackson.
