Ila L. Cox

Ila L. Cox, 79, of Quinton, passed away on November 16, 2020 at the Quinton Manor Nursing Home. Ila was born on January 10, 1941 in Gilbert, Louisiana to Allie Holley Smith. On September 10, 1965, she married Huey Cox. They were happily married for forty-six years, before he preceded her in death in 2011. Ila worked as an assembler for General Motors for fourteen years. She and Huey moved to Eufaula in 1997. She attended North Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include: her sons, Dewayne Cox and wife Debbie of Eufaula, OK; Don Cox and wife Tonya, of Porum, OK; her daughter, Donna Shields and husband Steve of McLoud, OK;her daughter-in-law, Kelli Cox of McLoud, OK; her sister, Glinda and Lenard Wright of McLoud, OK; sister-in-law, Sharon Keasler of Eufaula, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother; husband, Huey Cox; son, Eddie Cox in 2016; brother, Ed Keasler.
