Huey “Bud” Wayne Cox, 72, of Eufaula, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at his home. Bud was born August 11, 1938 in McLoud, Oklahoma to James (Delly) Ellis and Ora Bell (Kindig) Cox. He attended McLoud Public School and graduated in 1956. Bud worked as a truck driver for Fleming Foods in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for thirty-two years. On September 10, 1965, Bud married Ila L. Crook in McLoud, Oklahoma. He lived in McLoud, Oklahoma until his retirement in 1997, and then moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma. Bud was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include: his wife, Ila Cox, of the home; his mother, Ora Bell Bowers, of McLoud, OK; three sons, Donald Cox and wife, Tonya, of Porum, OK; Eddie Cox and wife, Kelly, of McLoud, OK; Dewayne Cox and wife, Dianna of Eufaula, OK; two daughters, Donna Shields and husband, Steve, of McLoud, OK; Paula Pischel and husband, Dan, of McLoud, OK; one brother, Don Cox and wife, Kitty, of McLoud, OK; one sister in-law, Mille; eighteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Delly Cox; one daughter, Debbie Cox; one brother, Jack Cox; and one sister, Margie Green.
