Howard (Bud) E. Roat

Howard "Bud" Erwin Roat, 97, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Howard was born on August 11, 1922 in He worked on a dairy farm raising cattle, sheep and chickens. On September 28, 1940, Bud married Lois May Griffin in Sherman, Texas. They moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma in 1989. They owned and operated Bud's Appliance Store and later a furniture and antique store. Bud loved to mow, tinker and invent things. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Japan. Every year he went to Canada to fish. Survivors include: his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and siblings: Viola, Virgil, Jeanie, Effie, Vernie, William "Bill", Gene, Cleo, Frank Jr., and Harold.
