Helen was born on November 19, 1937 in Vivian, Oklahoma to Fay Oscar and Lois (Hughes) King. She attended Deere"s Chapel School and graduated from Eufaula High School in 1955. On January 17, 1958, Helen married Billy Joe Singleton, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2009. They were happily married for over fifty-one years. They lived in Los Angeles and Fresno for seven years, before moving back to Oklahoma. Helen owned and operated Singleton Gulf Station with her husband at Deere"s Chapel. She was a longtime resident of Deere"s Chapel, living there for at least seventy years of her life. Survivors include: son, Kevin Singleton and wife, Kathy, of Eufaula; daughter, Karen Rodgers and husband, Dennis, of Harrah; brother, William Paul King, of Harrah; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Billy Jo Singleton.
