H. Bernice Allison, devoted wife, mother, and loving grandmother passed away on February 27, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bernice Allison was born on February 14, 1920 in Tecumseh, Nebraska to Lloyd and Daisy Hurlbutt. She worked for doctors in Enid, Oklahoma after high school graduation, where she met her husband Paul L. Allison and they were married on December 20, 1941. Paul joined the Air Force in 1942 and she joined him through his travels in the service. Paul went back to college in 1951 at Oklahoma State University, where she worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas. When he graduated college, Bernice transferred to ONG in Oklahoma City and worked for 15 years. In 1967, she quit ONG and went to work with her husband at Paul Allison, Inc., where she worked until their retirement in 1991. Bernice was a member of the Eufaula First United Methodist Church and FLEAS in Eufaula. Survivors include: one daughter, Marilyn Knol and husand, Allen, of Edmond, OK; three granddaughters: Allison Aday and husband, Dr. Mike Aday, of Eufaula, OK; Debbie Cook and husband, Jeff, of Yukon, OK; and Chamayne Burt and husband, Craig, of Bixby, OK; eight great grandchildren; one brother, L. Eldo Hurlbutt, of Coffeyville, KS; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends whose lives she touched with care and loyalty. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Paul Allison in September 2008.
