Harry Trottier III, 73, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his home. Harry was born on December 31, 1947, the son of Harry, Jr. and Lucille Hale Trottier. In 1965, he graduated from Running Springs High School, California. He served in the United States Air Force. Harry graduated from the very first paramedic class in California in 1972. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State University. Harry worked as the Emergency Manager for McIntosh County for 29 years and worked for the state in Emergency Management for 5 years. Harry joined the Texanna Fire Department in 1994 and served as the Fire Chief between 1997-2014. He also worked in law enforcement, was a paramedic and a weather chaser. In his spare time, Harry enjoyed working on old clocks and embroidery. Survivors include: his daughters, Christina Trottier of Eufaula and Nancy Jo McCullough and husband Brian of Fort Cobb; his brother, James Whitey Hale; a daughter at heart, Susan Whittle and husband Leroy; sister, Charlotte Hancock and husband Doug; grandchildren, Tim Trottier of Melbourne, Australia, Brittany Lowell of Beaverton, OR; Matt Lowell and wife Kathryn of Beaverton, OR; Clay McCullough and wife Addy of Norman, OK and Carson McCullough of Fort Cobb, OK; three great grandchildren, Theodore Lowell, Benjamin Lowell, Oakley McCullough and one on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Peggy, sister, Darlene Trottier and three grandchildren, Cory, Carly and Allex McCullough. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Texanna Fire Department, PO Box 790, Eufaula, OK 74432.
