Harry Mitchell Hillyard

Harry Mitchell Hillyard, 82, of Eufaula, passed away on January 10, 2021 at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Harry was born on March 15, 1938 in Blossburg, Pennsylvania to Walter Harry and Lois E. (Mays) Hillyard. He served in the United States Navy from March 31, 1955 to March 12, 1959, during the Korean Conflict. On January 1, 1988 Harry married Diana Ruth Abfalter in Bath, New York. They were happily married for thirty-three years. He was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Diana Hillyard, of the home; daughter, Missy Warma; brother, Rev. Dr. Donald Hillyard and wife, Betty, of Columbia, SC; sister, Dianna Vannoy of Tray, PA; and two grandchildren: Braden Warma and Kelsey Warma. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Paulo and father, Walter Hillyard.
