Harry James Harp

Harry was born on February 11, 1946, in Oklahoma, the son of Charley and Wanda (Ashley) Harp. He attended Yukon High School. During his Junior year in 1963, Harry joined the United States Air Force. After serving, he received his GED and attended the Nazarene College in Bethany. He worked in construction in the HVAC area for many years living and working in Arizona, Colorado and back to Oklahoma. On December 23, 1983, Harry married Iris Farthing in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They were happily married for thirty-four years. In his spare time, Harry enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, being with friends and family, especially his precious grandchildren. He is survived by: his wife, Iris, of the home; his son Barry Harp of Remington, Virginia; his daughter, Kerry Harp and husband Mike Lindyn of Mesa, Arizona; his sisters, Kay Penn and husband Mike of Littleton, Colorado, and Jean Campbell and husband Gene Paul of Arcadia, Oklahoma and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Littleton.
