Gladys Marie Disidore, 90, of Eufaula passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home. Gladys was born on January 8, 1924, in Bugtussle, Oklahoma the daughter of Roy Alton and Mable Mozell (Cloud) Anderson. She attended school in Crowder, Oklahoma. On November 15, 1943, Gladys married Pat Disidore in Bangor Pennsylvania. Together they owned and operated many businesses. In 1958 they moved to Eufaula with their family. Together they owned and operated Pat"s Liquor Store. Gladys loved her football. She was one of the biggest fans of Ironhead and Sooner football. On Friday nights she parked on the hill at the north goal to cheer her Ironhead football team. On Saturdays she headed to Norman to cheer for her Sooners. Gladys never met a stranger and through the years she gathered many friends along the way. She loved Eufaula and believed in its growth. Gladys was a founding donor in the community hospital and donated to local organizations and church building fundraisers. Gladys was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include: her daughters, Sandra Jean Basham and Terry Lynn Disidore, both of the home; her brother, William Anderson of McAlester; her sisters, Jean Reynolds of Broken Arrow, Helen Harris of Blanchard, and Mary Bragg of Tulsa; sister-in- law, Ruth Anderson of Gore; her granddaughter, Shauna Belyeu of Eufaula and great granddaughter Lauren Belyeu of Eufaula and many nieces and nephews. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Lloyd Anderson, her husband, Pat, a nephew, Dean Bragg, a niece, Debbie Bragg and a brother-in-law, Henry Bragg.
