Gerry Robert Stacy

Gerry Robert Stacy, 72, of Torrance, California, passed away November 13, 2024. Gerry was born on August 24, 1952, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Kenneth and Leah (Hardridge) Stacy. Gerry’s mother worked for the Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs therefore the family moved throughout Oklahoma around the Kaimichi mountains and throughout the country from Arlington Virginia to Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Gerry excelled in all sports but was especially proud of his black belt in Shin-toshi karate earned at the Dallas Academy of Karate. He was a 1970 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and worked for South Western Bell.

Gerry was an avid pool player and golf enthusiast. He had four no hitter games in little league. As a young man, he participated in many tournaments and demonstrations of Shin-toshi karate.
