Gerotha Sue Epley

Gerotha Sue Epley, 74, of Eufaula, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at her home. Sue was born on February 2, 1946, in Enterprise, Oklahoma the daughter of Berry Lee and Alice (Baker) Thomas. She attended from Canadian High School. She lived in McAlester from 1970-1989 and moved to Longtown where she was living when she passed. Sue was married to John Lavern Mills and to this union two children were born. She was later married to Charles Epley from 1989-1993. Sue loved being a home health car worker retiring from Latimer Healthcare. She worked as a hairdresser for ten years and also as a server at the Elks Lodge for fifteen years. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and loved spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include: her sons, John L. Mills and Jimmy Don Mills; her sisters, Doshia Graves and Irene Parks; her brothers, Harb Thomas, Tandy Thomas. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Westley Joseph Mills and Tyler Eugene Mills & Kerri; and two great grandchildren, Alyssa Ann Marie Mills and Elijah James Mills. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Tony, Donnie, Hugo, Berry, John and Jay and sisters, Sue Fields, Margie Fellsinger and Maxine.
